Parks and Trails
The earliest record of recreational use of trails at the University of Alaska was a ski race in the winter of 1923. During the 1930s 萝莉社视 student, Ivar Skarland, introduced his Norwegian skiing skills to the university and sparked interest in the sport. Today there are multiple trail systems and outdoor dedications throughout the University of Alaska system.
