Gwendolyn Gruenig was appointed head of the institutional research function for the university system in 2005. Prior to joining the system office in 2000, she held positions at University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Institute of Northern Engineering, Arctic Region Supercomputing Center, and Planning Analysis & Institutional Research. She is a former ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓF adjunct statistics faculty and owner/principal of a private consulting practice providing scientific and operational research and data management services.  Her education includes an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in statistics.

Kevin Swenson joined ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓ Data Analysis & Institutional Research in August 2022. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the ÂÜÀòÉçÊÓF in May 2022. Prior to joining the team, he was the general manager of KSÂÜÀòÉçÊÓ student radio.
